Aida Contemporary Glass
I am an award-winning designer educated at Chelsea College of
Art, London, UK as an Architectural Glass Designer.
My international portfolio includes commercial, private and public
work in Canada, France and the UK; exhibitions in Germany, Austria,
Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as a number of prestigious
ecclesiastical commissions including a window at the heritage-listed
church of St. James the Less, Westminster in central London.
Using glass as my medium, I create both functional and artistic
pieces. In the functional work (jewellery and glass objects), I
emphasised on the form, design and colour. My artistic pieces deal
with the personal experience of displacement and desire to settle in,
a loss against gain, how these things are inseparable and go side by
side with each other.
The Healing Power of Stained Glass Art

soul. Creativity is one of the vital components that makes us
human. Engaging in creative activities nurtures the imagination that
can heal and put our lives into a larger and richer context.
The Importance of Creativity for Stress Relief and Self-Care
Research has shown that being creative through art projects can help
promote stress relief, increase self-esteem, help connect with others,
and boost intrinsic motivation. So, participating in mindful art
projects can open one's mind to more positive thoughts and offer
alternative solutions to life problems.
Art therapy is a common technique used for therapeutic purposes due to
the numerous positive impacts of art and creativity on ones life. Art
allows one expressing thoughts and feelings while boosting confidence
in ones abilities. Through art, one can also gain greater control of
emotions.
The Benefits of Making Stained Glass Art
